RBS banks on Utilitywise for energy savings advice
The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) will be working with a consultant to offer energy efficiency advice to its customers.
Under RBS Mentor, it currently provides business customers support with environmental law, health and safety and environmental management but is extending it into energy management.
It will work with Utilitywise for three years in a bid to encourage businesses to become more energy efficient.
The energy, carbon and water consultancy expects to conduct around 1,800 energy audits to help firms better understand potential energy savings.
John Muncey, Head of Mentor at RBS said: “Energy is an important but often forgotten part of most small businesses’ supply chains and better management of energy use can help reap important savings that add to cash flow.
“This partnership is a great way to support customers to increase awareness of their energy consumption and ensure they are using this resource efficiently.”
