Solar farm lands on airport soil

One of the largest solar farms built on an airport has opened in America.
The farm at Indianapolis Airport in Indiana state will reduce CO2 emissions by just under 11,000 tons, thought to be the equivalent of removing about 2000 cars from the roads.
The farm is expected to power more than 1,800 American homes each year.
The solar energy produced will be sold to the Indianapolis Power Light Company (IPL) and fed back into the grid.
