Chef shares energy-saving Christmas cookery tips

The 25 December is an intense day for the most skilled of cooks – and having the oven on for hours to roast the turkey is energy intensive too.

Brr-ight idea for frozen goodies
Pre-cooking food and stashing it in the freezer is often a trick used to get ahead. But your freezer will run better without all that extra ice build up. Clive says: “Defrost your freezer before Christmas. It will run more efficiently and create space for any leftovers.”
