In the next 12 months, its programme will look to focus on a number of key priority areas.
They include improving the level, quality and appropriateness of flexibility market information and the development of balancing services/products and processes “to sustain a flexibility market appropriate to entrants regardless of the technology type”.
Some of the balacing services framework are frequency response, i.e. demand side management techniques and reserve as well as the Capacity Market.
The grid operator is seeking insight on what could be done to make improvements in the priority areas.
