Rolls-Royce has signed an agreement with a Chinese company to provide instrumentation and control (IC) integrated solutions to the global nuclear industry.
The deal has been agreed with CTEC, a subsidiary of China General Power Corporation, which provides full life-cycle and end-to-end digital IC systems for nuclear power plants.
The two organisations plan to integrate their IC technologies and expertise on selected projects in China and abroad.
Jiang Guojin, CTEC General Manager said: “The agreement will see us further strengthening our already strong partnership and leveraging our combined capabilities and expertise to develop safe, reliable and competitive nuclear IC solutions for China and the world.”
Rolls-Royce’s IC systems have been installed in more than 200 nuclear reactors worldwide.
