Topping up with fuel is getting cheaper by the week as prices continue on a steady downward trend.
Statistics from the Department of Energy and Climate Change shows this is the fifteenth consecutive week that petrol and diesel have taken a tumble.
Unleaded petrol this week will cost £1.111 a litre, a slight dip from last week of 2.1 pence per litre. The last time petrol was this price was January 2010.
Diesel dipped by 2.4 pence per litre to £1.179, the lowest since September 2010.
Falling oil prices prompted Chancellor George Osborne to make clear this week he wanted cheaper prices at petrol stations and on energy bills.
