The UK’s energy regulator, Ofgem, has announced the launch of an investigation into Tomato Energy, citing concerns regarding the supplier’s provision of data under the Energy Price Guarantee.

The investigation stems from incomplete and delayed information provided by Tomato Energy in recent months.

Ofgem has emphasised that the initiation of the investigation does not imply any findings of non-compliance at this stage.
