We are working with an ambitious and innovative organisation, urgently looking to recruit an Energy Manager to join their exciting company. Candidates will have a strong background involving energy audits and surveys of large Data Centres and will have a good working knowledge of ISO 50001.

Location:  London/National travel

Salary: £55-65k + benefits

Key Qualifications/Experience

• Educated to degree level in a relevant field
• Experience in energy management for Data Centres or mission critical environments
• A good working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including utility feeders, chillers, air handling units, transformers, cooling towers, generators, switchgears and CRAC units
• Experienced conducting energy audits and surveys on site
• Ability to advise personnel on energy efficiency issues for the UK data centres
• Effective communication skills
• A strong knowledge of ISO 50001 would be highly advantageous

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting energy audits and surveys for various data centres across the UK
• Advising senior management on energy reduction and emerging technologies
• Liaising with Facilities Managers to provide support on energy efficiency and improvements
• Regular reporting regarding energy usage
• Forecasting future energy usage
• Ensuring that each site is conforming to the standards of ISO 50001
• Directing personnel on energy efficiency issues
