Big and small consultancies take to TELCA shortlist

It isn’t just the big dogs of the energy consulting world being recognised for good work.
Smaller ones are taking a slice of the limelight too in the latest shortlist for The Energy Live Consultancy Awards 2014.
Chris Billing, Head of Indirect Sales at supplier npower which is TELCA’s headline sponsor said: “I am delighted with the broad range of consultants who have been shortlisted – it seems big and small have both stepped forward for well-deserved recognition.”
Even more firms are jockeying to win a TELCA – suggesting more firms are taking good practice seriously.
Mr Billing said: “The number of entries has grown this year and this just goes to show how much consultants value the awards as a way to showcase their best and brightest work – and what it can do for their business.”
The supplier sees energy consultants and brokers as important in the energy market: “From npower’s perspective, we’re very committed to the consultancy market and we’ve made a huge effort to reach more firms, especially with our upcoming regional roadshows later in May.”
The TELCA winners will be announced at a glitzy awards ceremony on 19 June 2014. ELN has begun a TPI Code of Conduct Crusade, calling on Ofgem to take on board the views of as many consultants as possible. If you’d like to have your say, email forward.planning@energylivenews.com
