Electricity smart meter installations in Great Britain’s energy market saw a 16% increase in May 2023, with 197,000 installations taking place.

That’s according to ElectraLink’s latest report, which suggests despite a 5% decrease compared to last year, the upward trend persists, with a total of 944,000 installations in 2023 and more than 20.65 million since the rollout began.

Regional installation rates remained consistent, with East England leading at 26,000 installations.
