EU fund invests in Polish gas pipeline

An EU fund is in the construction of a gas pipeline in Poland.
The European Regional Development Fund is providing €79 million (£70m) to cover part of the construction costs of the 130km-long Zdzieszowice – Wrocław pipeline.
The project will reinforce the existing regional gas transmission system and increase its capacity.
It is expected to be completed by the end of 2018.
