There’s still a lack of awareness about how much the energy industry has to offer.

That’s the view of Jaz Rabadia, Senior Energy Manager at Starbucks, who spoke to a group of students at the Energy Live 2016 conference earlier this month to encourage them to join the industry.

She told ELN the sector still has a “huge amount of work to do” to reach out to even more young people.

Ms Rabadia said: “I think there’s more work to be done in terms of raising awareness of the fact that you could come from a background in law and accounting and engineering, kind of come from anywhere and still have a place in the energy sector.”
